Dehradun, June 30 -- The Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Prem Chand Agarwal inaugurated a series of murals painted on the boundary wall of the assembly building on Monday. These murals showcase the world famous Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra. Speaking on the occasion Agarwal said that the beauty of Uttarakhand is encapsulated in its culture. He added that it is the responsibility of every Uttarakhandi to preserve its rich culture.

The Speaker said that Nanda Raj Jat Yatra is the longest Yatra of Asia and showcases the rich cultural history of Garhwal and Kumaon regions.
