Ranchi, March 3 -- The gruesome incident of gangrape of a Spanish woman tourist in Dumka district on Saturday was raised in the budget session of Jharkhand Assembly. The BJP, sitting in the Opposition, cornered the government over deteriorating law and order in the State. On the last day of the Budget session of Assembly, the issue was raised by Godda legislator Amit Mandal, who said that such incident has brought bad name to Jharkhand in the whole world.

He said that Jharkhand is ashamed with the incident and demanded immediate removal of Dumka SP. "The government should take strict action in this matter. No one should be spared. Such incidents bring disrepute to the state and the whole nation," he said.
