Bhopal, April 22 -- A tragic road accident on Monday morning claimed the lives of six people and left three others injured, including a newlywed couple, when a multi-utility vehicle (MUV) overturned near a roadside eatery in Raisen district. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. under the jurisdiction of the Sultanpur police station.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police Kamlesh Kharpuse, the vehicle was travelling from Patna, Bihar, to Indore after attending a marriage function. The MUV was carrying nine passengers when it reportedly struck a culvert and overturned, causing fatal injuries to many on board.
