New Delhi, July 3 -- Reports of a firing incident targeting Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa during his morning visit to West Delhi's Khyala and Vishnu Garden areas sparked confusion on Wednesday, but were later dismissed by both the minister and the Delhi Police.
The rumours began circulating on social media, suggesting that an unidentified person had opened fire at the minister while he was touring his constituency in the forenoon hours. The reports claimed that a cartridge had been found at the scene, fuelling speculation of an attempted attack.
