Mumbai, Feb. 4 -- Ruling BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad, who has been arrested in connection with the attempt to murder Shinde-led Shiv Sena leader Mahesh Gaikwad, has opened the pandora's box by alleging that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had unleashed a "goonda raj" in Kalyan.
Talking to a television channel while he was being taken by the police after his arrest in connection with the Friday night shoot-out, Ganpat Gaikwad said, "I resorted to firing because my son was being manhandled at the police station right in front of the police officials. Because of the police intervention, my son survived the attack on Mahesh Gaikwad's men".
