New Delhi, July 12 -- According top priority to rejuvenate river Yamuna and tackle pollution in it, Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday directed Delhi Government to release treated water from Okhla into downstream of Yamuna to improve the water quality of the river. He also called for increasing the capacity of sewage treatment plants and improve the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) in the main drains of Najafgarh and Shahdara and drone survey of these two main drains.
