Bhopal, May 21 -- Harsh weather conditions continued to batter Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, resulting in the death of a farmer and injuries to eight others across multiple districts. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for strong storms and heavy rains in 40 districts, including major cities such as Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior, warning that these severe conditions are expected to persist for several days.

In a tragic incident in Chateh village of Rewa district, farmer Gopikrishna Mishra died after coming into contact with an 11 KV electric wire while taking his buffaloes out for grazing.
