New Delhi, June 10 -- A day after the shocking rape and murder of a nine-year-old girl in Delhi's Nehru Vihar, a seven-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in the Sabzi
Mandi police station area in North district, according to police on Monday.
After the girl told her parents about the horrific event, the suspect, named Mohammad Salim, faced the wrath of the enraged public and was beaten. The police were later notified, which resulted in the arrest of the accused, according to officials.
The victim has undergone a medical examination. Police have stated that while the suspect does not live directly next door, he does reside in the same neighborhood as the victim.
