Shimla, Oct. 24 -- Seven houses were gutted in a devastating fire at Purbani village in Kinnaur district on Friday afternoon.The fire also engulfed the village temple and left it partially damaged.The fire had reportedly started around 3:30 pm. The fire tenders rushed to the spot after receiving the information.
On the directions of the Chief Minister, the District Administration has provided immediate relief of Rs 10,000 to each affected family.
Till the filing of the report, the cause of the fire was not known. No casualty has been reported while property worth lakhs of rupees were damaged.
