Kolkata, July 31 -- The police have arrested seven Bangladeshi nationals while they were trying to slip back to that country across the border in Nadia district if Bengal, sources said.
Out of the seven four were children, police sources said adding they were coming from Ahmedabad and were "trying to go back to Bangladesh in the midst of present crackdown on infiltrators."
These people were on Tuesday apprehended from Baranberia Niralapara in the Dhantala police station area of Nadia. "They come from Baliadanga village in Batiaghata police station area of Bangladesh's Khulna district," an official said.
Initial interrogations revealed that they had entered India about two years ago and were living in Ahmedabad.
