Jammu, Feb. 23 -- A day after senior army officers attended a Brigade commanders-level Flag meeting with their Pakistani counterparts along the line of control in the Chakan-da-bagh area of Poonch, a joint team of security forces on Saturday launched anti-terror operations at nearly three dozen places across Jammu region.
These operations were launched in the frontier districts of Rajouri and Poonch, higher reaches of the Udhampur-Kathua belt, mountainous Doda and Kishtwar and the forests near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu district.
During the flag meeting on Friday, both Indian and Pakistani officers agreed to maintain a ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) as per the agreement reached between them on February 25, 2021.
