India, Feb. 22 -- The terrorist handlers sitting across the border in Pakistan are growing restless with every failed attempt to trigger unrest in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the peak tourist season.

In the recent week, the region witnessed a failed infiltration bid in the Sunderbani area of Rajouri, unprovoked firing on the forward Indian posts in Kupwara, a drone dropping of a drug cache across the Jammu frontier and recovery of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) planted to trigger a blast in the valley.

The latest recovery was made on Saturday in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal. The IED was kept inside a bag and placed on the roadside at Gulab Sheikh Mohalla near Kohestan Colony in the district's Safapora area.
