India, Feb. 3 -- The bravehearts of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) are hotly chasing multiple groups of terrorists hiding inside the thickly forested area of the Kishtwar district to neutralise them.
The ongoing operation Trashi-1 has seen heightened activity, with security forces establishing contact with the terrorists on at least four occasions since January 18, 2026. The last contact with terrorists was re-established in the early hours of January 31 in the general area of Dolgam.
The same day, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma assessed the operational preparedness of the counter terrorism grid in Kishtwar and directed the troops to flush out the terrorists from inside their safe hideouts.
