NEW DELHI, March 3 -- South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) will install 'Radio Frequency Identity' (RFID) tags at all 124 entry points in the city.

In the first phase, SDMC had already installed RFID at 13 key points and now it will be installed at 111 points. Installation work will be completed as soon as possible, Mayor of SDMC Anamika said.

"The system ensures that all commercial vehicles will have to pay the tax and ECC through RFID and the move will promote a cashless system, she added.
