Jamshedpur, March 30 -- With the onset of summer, several parts of Jharkhand are experiencing an intense heatwave, with temperatures soaring beyond 40 degrees Celsius. The Kolhan and Palamu regions have been particularly affected, recording some of the highest temperatures in the state.
According to meteorological data, Jamshedpur registered a maximum temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius on Friday, while Daltonganj recorded 40.5 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Chaibasa in West Singhbhum district also experienced extreme heat, with temperatures touching 40 degrees.
