Schools, hospitals, and public spaces to be declared smoke-free in East Singhbhum

Jamshedpur, June 17 -- In a significant move to curb the use of tobacco products and protect public health, the East Singhbhum District Administration has decided to declareall educational institutions, health centers, and major public places as smoke-free zones. The decision was taken during a meeting of theDistrict Level Coordination Committee on Tobacco Control, held at the Collectorate Auditorium on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi.
