Ranchi, May 30 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday asked the Jharkhand High Court to give its response within a week on a complaint made by a woman judge on rejection of a child care leave application made by her. The woman Additional District Judge (ADJ) Kashika M Prasad was posted in Hazaribagh and was recently transferred.
The Supreme Court direction came from a bench comprising Chief Justice B.R Gavai and Justice AG Masih, while hearing a petition filed by the ADJ who knocked the Apex Court door after the refusal to grant her child care leave.
