New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday gave a split verdict on the issue of place of burial of a pastor, whose body is lying in a mortuary in Chhattisgarh since January 7, and directed that he be buried at a designated place for Christian burials. While Justice BV Nagarathna said the burial of the converted Christian should be held in a private agricultural land of the family, Justice Satish Chandra Sharma said the burial should only be held at a designated place away from the village in Chhattisgarh.
