Bhopal, March 9 -- As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the State Bank of India (SBI), Bhopal Circle, has donated ?46.73 lakh to Vrindavan Welfare Society, a Bhopal-based NGO dedicated to the rehabilitation and care of injured and rescued animals.
The funds will be utilized to enhance the quality of animal care by procuring essential medical equipment, an animal rescue van, and installing a solar power system at the shelter. Aligned with the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world as one family), the initiative underscores a compassionate approach towards animal welfare and reinforces the idea of the planet as a shared home for all living beings.
