Bhopal, June 30 -- The Shahpura branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) marked the bank's 70th Foundation Day with an inspiring environmental protection initiative: a sapling plantation program at Akriti Retreat Colony.
During the event, over 50 fruit-bearing and shade-giving saplings were planted within the colony premises. Additionally, attendees and colony residents received 70 holy basil (Tulsi) plants as gifts, symbolizing health and purity in Indian tradition.
Further demonstrating its commitment to community welfare, the bank also donated wet and dry waste dustbins to the colony's parks as part of its "Swachhta Abhiyan" (Cleanliness Campaign).
