India, Dec. 23 -- SaveLIFE Foundation, in collaboration with Tata AIG General Insurance Co Ltd, has provided upgraded emergency care equipment to the Community Health Centres (CHCs) at Jasra and Chaka. The initiative, part of the Zero Fatality District (ZFD) Programme, aims to enable the two CHCs to function as Trauma Stabilisation Facilities for road crash victims and other emergency cases, especially during the crucial "golden hour" after a crash.

An event to mark the handover was held at CHC Jasra on December 17 and was attended by Dr Ankita Pandey, Medical Superintendent, CHC Jasra; Devang Pandya, Vice-President and Lead-CSR and Sustainability, Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd; and representatives from SaveLIFE Foundation.
