New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- BJP MLA from Malviya Nagar, Satish Upadhyay on Wednesday accused the AAP of disrespecting freedom fighters. This comes after a day the AAP accused the BJP of removing portraits of BR Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh from the Chief Minister's office.
Upadhyay visited Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park in Malviya Nagar and criticised the Aam Aadmi Party over neglecting a damaged statue of the freedom fighter installed at the park. The BJP has denied the allegations and shared pictures on social media to refute the charges.
Sharing pictures of the sorry state of statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Upadhyay said the statue has holes at many places and the left palm is also missing.
