New Delhi, April 23 -- Hundreds of residents of the Saket area took to the streets in a peaceful protest march, demanding immediate attention to the worsening civic and environmental conditions in the area. This comes on the occasion of Earth Day on Tuesday. Organised by the Federation of RWAs, Saket, the march aimed to highlight long-standing issues resulting from civic apathy. The primary concern raised was the unchecked discharge of untreated sewage into storm water drains, causing foul odours, health hazards, and severe environmental damage, in violation of public sanitation norms.
