Chandigarh, July 15 -- A day after Punjab Government imposed a complete ban on all public gatherings, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Tuesday announced to postpone party's all political programs for next 15 days "keeping in view emerging coronavirus situation".
Even as the party's youth wing president Parmbans Singh Romana has accused the Congress Government of trying to "suppress the Opposition's voice" in the garb of corona guidelines, the SAD's senior vice president and spokesman Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said that the decision has been taken "keeping in view health of the public and party workers and in accordance with the advice of the doctors and health department".
