SUNDARGARH, Aug. 6 -- A two-member team of Sundargarh police along with brother of a trafficked girl of Sundargarh went to Delhi on Monday for rescuing her from there. The girl had called his brother from an unknown number about five days back and was crying for her rescue.

Sources said the 22-year-old tribal girl of a local village under Kinjirikela police station reportedly was working at a shop in Sundargarh for last three years. The girl used to visit her native village in regular interval, but in the mean time a group of brokers had allegedly managed to take her to Delhi, about a week back, promising her to engage in a suitable job. On July 31, the brother of the girl received a phone call from an unknown number.
