Bhopal, Oct. 4 -- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that while the arrangements in urban areas were affected due to heavy rains in this monsoon, farmers in rural areas had to face a lot of difficulties due to excessive rainfall. The state government has left no stone unturned in providing assistance in this hour of crisis.

Chief Minister Chouhan transferred assistance amounting to Rs. 202 crore 64 lakh into the accounts of affected farmers of 19 districts of the state which were hit by floods and heavy rains including Vidisha, Sagar, Guna, Raisen, Damoh, Harda, Morena, Agar-Malwa, Balaghat, Bhopal, Ashoknagar, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Sheopur, Chhindwara, Bhind, Rajgarh, Betul and Seoni districts with a single click.
