ROURKELA, March 28 -- The Rourkela police have arrested two inter-State cybercriminals having links with an international scammer, who has allegedly duped people of over Rs 200 crore.
The Ministry of Home Affairs' (MHA) Bureau of Immigration (BOI) had detained two accused Harish Kurapati alias Harry and Naga Venkata Sowjanya Kurapati alias Lisa at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad after their arrival from Cambodia.
The Rourkela police have brought them on remand for production in a court here in connection with a cybercrime case lodged in December 2023.
