Ranchi, July 21 -- The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) held a review meeting with the ward inspection team and nodal officers on dengue and chikungunya in the State Capital on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by Municipal Commissioner Manoj Kumar.
In the meeting, the Commissioner reviewed the work for the prevention of vector borne diseases in all the wards. All the supervisors and zonal ward representatives were instructed to check for diseases like dengue and chikungunya in their wards and also create awareness among the residents for its prevention. The officials have also directed to visit their wards on a regular basis to ensure cleanliness and spraying of chemicals.
