BHOPAL, Feb. 10 -- A Junior Clerk in the Commercial Department of Bhopal Division, Nithya Gandhe won a silver medal in the 100-metre race at the 38th National Games in Dehradun, clocking an impressive 11.79 seconds.
This victory adds to Gandhe's growing list of achievements. Earlier in 2024, she won gold medals in both the 100-metre and 200-metre races at the Inter-Railway competition in Rae Bareli. She also secured gold in both events at the Open National competition in Bengaluru in September.
Under the guidance of Bhopal Division Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi, the Railway continues to support its employees in sports, with athletes like Gandhe bringing pride to Indian Railways.
