Bhopal, July 23 -- A fresh political rift has come to fore within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior-Chambal region, as the State Assembly Speaker and senior leader Narendra Singh Tomar made a pointed remark that appeared to target Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
While addressing a public gathering in Morena, Tomar questioned the tendency of some leaders to claim sole credit for developmental projects, subtly criticising those who present government achievements as personal accomplishments. Without naming Scindia directly, Tomar said, "Some leaders keep saying 'I brought this, I brought that,' but they can't even find time for themselves."
