BOKARO, Jan. 31 -- The Energy Management Department of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has launched a major project to revive and repair its 51-year-old Blast Furnace (BF) gas network, enhancing efficiency and sustainability. The project was inaugurated by Executive Director (Works) Chittaranjan Mahapatra, in the presence of senior officials, including Chief General Manager (Energy Management) Gulshan Kumar, General Manager Prakash Mandal, and General Manager Omkaresh Banerjee.
Mahapatra described the project as a key step in BSL's energy optimization efforts, stating that it would enhance energy efficiency, strengthen safety standards, and improve production processes.
