New Delhi, June 4 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, on Tuesday, approved the proposal to grant retired Government servants membership at the Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) newly developed Dwarka Golf Course, the same as given to serving Government employees. The decision comes in response to multiple representations submitted by retired officials seeking parity in membership access.
Previously, under the draft rules, retired officers were to be classified alongside private individuals for the purposes of gaining membership. This distinction had drawn concern and prompted several appeals.
