Ranchi, April 27 -- As most parts of the State have been sweltering in the grip of a heat wave with temperatures being recorded at 40 degree Celsius or more making it difficult to go about one's daily chores, the Meteorological Centre, Ranchi has predicted a change in the weather conditions for the next few days with some much needed respite from the heat.
The MET Centre, Ranchi has issued an orange alert for April 27 stating that the north eastern parts of the State and the adjoining areas may witness hailstorm, thunderstorm and lightning with wind speed of up to 40 to 50 km per hour.
