Lucknow, March 1 -- The resignation of IAS officer Abhishek Singh has been accepted after getting approval from the Central government. It will be considered effective from Thursday (February 29, 2024).
Abhishek Singh was an IAS officer of the 2011 batch. He resigned in October 2023. Sources said that Abhishek Singh is likely to enter the political field after leaving the civil services job. He is continuously active in political and social work in Jaunpur. There are also speculations about Singh contesting the Lok Sabha election from Jaunpur on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.
Singh, who has worked in many films, was under suspension from February 2023 due to a long absence. Abhishek Singh's wife Durga Shakti Nagpal is also an IAS officer....
