Bhopal, May 25 -- Students from the Mechanical Engineering department at SISTec have won first prize in the Rural Technology category at the prestigious SRIJAN 2025 competition. The winning project, a battery-operated Rescue Robot designed to aid in cable car rescue operations, was developed by third-year students Rekha Soni and Saniya Choudhary. The duo received a cash prize of Rs 20,000 along with the top honors in the working model competition.
