Ranchi, April 18 -- Renowned writer in Adivasi Kharia and Hindi languages, eminent educationist, Jharkhand movement activist, and staunch advocate of women's human rights, Dr. Rose Kerketta passed away today at the age of 85. After battling a painful illness for two years, she breathed her last this morning at 10:40 AM at her residence on Cheshire Home Road, Bariatu, Ranchi. Her last rites will be performed on18 May, at 11:30 AM at the Siramtoli GEL Church Cemetery in Ranchi.
