Ranchi, March 20 -- The residents of Jharkhand may have some relief from the heat in the next few days as a change in the weather with light to moderate rain in various parts of the State is being predicted till March 22.
The Meteorological Centre, Ranchi has issued a yellow warning for March 20 for the northern parts of the State signifying thunderstorms and lightning accompanied with gusty winds with speed of up to 30- 40 km per hour. An orange alert has been issued for the southern and adjoining central regions stating thunderstorm and lighting as well as gusty winds with a speed of approximately 40- 50 per hour. The weathermen have stated that isolated parts of southern Jharkhand are likely to witness hailstorms as well.
