New Delhi, May 16 -- Amid all the negativity about coronavirus pandemic that has created havoc across India as well as the world, there's good news from some States here where the number of recovered Covid-19 patients has surpassed the number of active cases.
Active Covid-19 cases are the number of total coronavirus cases after deducting the number of recovered/discharged patients and fatalities count. Nationally too, the recovery rate is increasing steadily. About 32.63 per cent patients have recovered so far from coronavirus.
According to the Health Ministry's website, more than 70 per cent of the deaths are due to comorbidities.
