New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Brinda Karat on Friday urged Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri to rebuild the recently demolished Guru Ravidas Mandir and nearby for samadhis in Tughlaqabad by Delhi Development Authority (DDA). In her letter Brinda said that DDA authorities decision to a lot another place to the followers of the Guru is not at all acceptable and the Mandir must be rebuilt in the same place.

Citing the Modi Government's position in Ayodhya case on supporting the faith of the people, the CPI(M) leader said that this should be applicable to the followers of the Guru Ravidas.
