Garhwa, April 8 -- A chariot built by the Jai Bharat Sangh Tandwa Akhara caught fire during a procession through the city, on Sunday. The incident took place as the chariot procession neared the stage, where a large crowd had assembled.
Panic erupted when the fire broke out, and attendees scattered in fear, resulting in a stampede-like situation at the event location. Recognising the seriousness of the situation, the organising committee and local residents immediately alerted the district administration. Upon receiving the report, the district administration mobilised and dispatched a fire brigade to the location.
