RAIPUR, Dec. 14 -- BJP on Friday attacked Raipur Mayor Pramod Dubey and said that the city suffered due to internal politics in his mayor-in-council.
"Congress party which came to power through false promises has cheated the residents of the city," BJP spokesperson Sachidanand Upasane said.
Dubey had promised to make the city tanker free but instead he badly failed in supplying water to the city. Member of his MIC corporator Milind Gautam even staged 'Dharna' against his polices, Upasne said.
According to Upasne, Dubey's MIC member Gowardhan Sharma was removed due to the internal politics. Dubey wanted to create an army of 'Yes man' but he kept on running away from his responsibilities, he added.
