Ranchi, April 11 -- Heavy rains with strong winds and lightening across several districts of the State has brought the temperature down in most parts of Jharkhand on Thursday.

Hailstorms were also witnesses in many districts including Palamu of Jharkhand. However, the Meteorological Department had already issued a yellow alert regarding this. According to the Meteorological Department, turfline is formed from East Bihar to Vidarbha. Along with this, there is an effect of cyclonic circulation at an altitude of 1.5 km above sea level in East Bihar. The effect of which is also being seen in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
