India, Sept. 2 -- A few hours of rain on Monday brought Gurugram to a standstill as severe waterlogging was reported from more than 60 locations across the city, disrupting traffic and causing hardship to commuters.
The downpour, which began around 2 pm and intensified until 5:30 pm, inundated several arterial stretches, including key points along the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway near the Delhi-Gurugram border. Traffic at this crucial junction slowed to a crawl, with two-wheeler riders facing the maximum inconvenience. Movement along the Delhi-Jaipur-Mumbai highway was also severely affected.
