BHOPAL, Feb. 17 -- In the wake of the tragic stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, the railway administration has taken significant steps to enhance security across stations in Madhya Pradesh. An immediate alert has been issued in the Bhopal division, with railway officials visiting stations to assess the situation.
The stampede, which occurred late on Saturday night at New Delhi Railway Station, claimed 18 lives, including nine women, four men, and five children. More than 25 people were injured, some critically. The incident has raised serious concerns over the railway administration's security measures.
