India, March 20 -- In a major step to curb cross-border drug smuggling, Punjab Government on Wednesday conducted a real-time trial of advanced anti-drone technology at Naushera Dhalla - a border village in Tarn Taran district. This strategic move, part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign "Yudh Nashian Virudh", aims to counter the growing menace of drone-based narco-terrorism.

The trial was attended by Cabinet Minister and AAP state president Aman Arora, along with Jails Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar and senior Punjab Police officials. The demonstration follows earlier trials held in SAS Nagar, Mohali, on March 4-5.
