Chandigarh, May 28 -- Setting a precedent in educational incentives, the Punjab Government on Tuesday announced a new initiative as the state's top-performing students of Class X and XII from government schools will now be rewarded with an educational air journey to some of India's most historically significant cities.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the move during an interactive felicitation ceremony with state toppers in Chandigarh. The move aimed to broaden the intellectual and cultural horizons of meritorious students while memorably and aspirationally celebrating their academic excellence.
