Chandigarh, March 10 -- With the grand Hola-Mohalla celebrations set to take place from March 10 to 15 at Sri Anandpur Sahib and Sri Kiratpur Sahib, the Punjab Police has imposed a strict ban on the use of speakers on tractors and trucks to ensure a safe and peaceful atmosphere for devotees.

Announcing the decision, Rupnagar (Ropar) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gulneet Singh Khurana on Sunday said that all district police administrations have been directed to enforce the ban.
