Chandigarh, May 6 -- Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Monday solemnly paid homage to the victims of the horrific terrorist attack that rocked South Kashmir's Pahalgam on April 22, leaving 26 people dead, many of them tourists. The Assembly also remembered two prominent political figures - former MP Master Bhagat Ram and former Minister Randhir Singh Cheema - who recently passed away.
Opening the obituary references, Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan expressed the House's deep anguish over the loss of innocent lives in the Pahalgam terror strike.
