Chandigarh, Feb. 19 -- The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) commenced its annual Class VIII, X, and XII board examinations from Tuesday with nearly 8.82 lakh students appearing across the State. To ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exams, a total of 2,579 examination centres have been set up, supported by a well-coordinated team of 2,579 superintendents and 3,269 deputy superintendents.
Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, while announcing the commencement of exams, extended his best wishes to all students and urged them to give their best effort. He encouraged students to study harder and make their parents and the state proud, emphasizing that hard work is the key to success.
