India, Feb. 3 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Monday extended its property tax amnesty scheme Sumpattikar Niptaan Yojana (SUNIYO) till February 28, 2026, and urged property owners across the Capital to come forward and clear their long-pending dues as the late fee remains unchanged at 5 per cent.

Under SUNIYO, taxpayers are eligible for a complete waiver of property tax, interest and penalties for all years before 2020-21, provided they pay the principal tax for the current financial year (2025-26) and the previous five fiscals.
